Who we are
Artusa was founded in Ankara in 2005. Our work in one sentence: to measure, design, manufacture, install and then monitor the systems that stand between a structure and the rock detaching from a slope, the sliding slope, the debris flow and the avalanche. The design team is made up of civil engineers and geological engineers; engineers with postgraduate degrees in rock slope engineering lead the design, and the site crews work by rope access.
Three offices: Ankara (head office and manufacturing plant), Appenzell (Artusa International AG) and Sohar (Artusa LLC). Where we have worked and the numbers behind it are derived from the company's records; under confidentiality agreements, project and client names are not published.

Where each item comes from is stated on every page: hexagonal double-twist wire mesh and steel ring net are our own manufacture; high-tensile meshes and flexible barriers come from Geobrugg AG. Artusa has been Geobrugg's representative in Türkiye since 2009.
How we work
- No number enters a report without being measured. What we measure during a survey is listed on the contact page; for a value that cannot be measured we first propose a measurement programme.
- Specifications and calculations are given in a form that can be copied: our Turkish specification library and calculation tools are open to everyone, and measurable performance is written instead of a brand name.
- We leave an ID tag plate on every line we build; inspection, event and repair records stay at one address for the life of the line.
- We define the problem before selling the product: ditch or barrier, drapery or anchored mesh is answered with criteria, not with a catalogue.
